Boating & Kayaking
Charleston is an area surrounded by water and boating and Charleston go hand-in-hand. With the intra-coastal
waterways and many salt-water rivers, Charleston offers a large number of houses with deep-water access or
tidal creeks. Most of these waterways will allow the owners to navigate their vessels to the Charleston
Harbor and beyond.
For those who do not live on the water, there are numerous boat landings located throughout the Charleston
area (a list of boat landings is located below). Or, boaters may choose to purchase a boat slip at one of
the many marinas in the Charleston area (a list of marinas is located below).
Boaters here enjoy sailing, kayaking, surf kayaking, wind surfing, deep sea fishing, harbor cruises, jet
skiing, wake-boarding & water skiing, and just about any other kind of boating imaginable.
